We came here for breakfast during our time on this island. The staff are very friendly and the place is homy, with various locals here to chat for their morning coffee. The news was playing in the background as everyone had their opinions on current events. We ordered a pancake and side of eggs, and also the breakfast platter with portuguese sausage and a hash brown. The pancake was the star of the breakfast because it was huge, fluffy and crispy at the same time. The eggs were standard but the hash browns were very oily. The papaya was fine, but not too sweet so I probably wouldn't order it again. You order and pay before you sit down - cash only. They bring your food to you and also bus your table afterwards. This is a no frills place with pretty good breakfast overall.

We had the breakfast and it was a great choice. Good prices and a lot of food. The service was especially friendly and helpful. I had the bento breakfast and wasn't hungry the rest of the day!

Yum! We found blue ginger cafe through Yelp and it did not disappoint! $15 for the big breakfast included fried rice, eggs, bacon, toast and two pancakes. The big breakfast was enough for two people in my option or one very hungry person! Everything was cooked to order and delicious. I especially liked the fried rice offered for breakfast (or you can get white rice or hashbrowns). Plenty of seating inside. Street parking b is available. Derive was friendly and our food came out quickly. A definite breakfast stop if you are in the area.

Blue Ginger came recommended by my cousin when searching for places to eat while on Lāna'i. Unfortunately, they close early in the afternoon so we never had an opportunity to swing by as we usually finish our round at around 1. As it was super windy on Friday, my Dad and I decided to skip golf and head into town to see what it was like during the day. We were warmly greeted by the staff and owner. The shuttle driver mentioned they baked their own bread so we already knew we'd be ordering a sandwich. Asked for a recommendation and the dry saimin was suggested. While I was a bit skeptical (as we had the dry saimin at Sato last trip) I decided to just go with it. The pastrami sandwich was good and the bread even better. Only complaint was with the fact that the fries weren't seasoned before serving. The dry saimin was fantastic! Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of fish cake and spam!! I do wish they extended their hours of operation so that we could head here for either lunch after a round of golf or for dinner. Their burgers looked fantastic as well and would order that the next trip out.

A favorite place to stop by ever since I first went in 2018, I recently got their signature Lāna'i Omelette, and it blew me away with how savory and delicious it was. I also tried their pastries and coffee which were just as good. The blue ginger at the cafe makes for great ambiance, and the workers are all friendly and kind. - Miguel Morales Photography
